My Review of Immortal Consequences
Immortal consequences was the first academic fantasy book I have read that felt like I was reading a part of myself. The story begins where we meet six “teens” and I say teens in quotations because some of them have been “living” in the afterlife for hundreds of years. There are only a few students who have been at Blackwood Academy for a few years. Otherwise they are all perpetually living in their 18-20 year old bodies. We first meet August and Wren who have this odd entanglement of killing each other over and over in the afterlife just to feel alive.
